SYNOPSIS
Lorna Chester “Queen of Elastic” has been for thirty years a variety artist with a worldwide reputation. She is a contortionist, a “snake-woman”. Coming from a modest background, she grew up in the country near Berlin in the GDR. At eighteen she came to West Ger¬many to learn the art of contortion with her future partner, Leslie Chester. Together they became famous around the world. After twenty-two years of collaboration Leslie Chester died.
Alone in her life as well as in her work, Lorna Chester sought a new path. In addition she had a serious car accident. But in spite of all that, with a will of iron, she has developed a new career, as a soloist in show-business.
